    For example, if a candidate's percentile score is 95, it means that the candidate has scored equal to or better than 95% of the candidates who appeared in the examination. The percentile is calculated separately for each category of students (I. e. , General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD) based on their respective category-wise rank. So, the percentile score is not common for all category students. The formula used to calculate percentile score is as follows:
    Percentile score = (Number of candidates who scored less than or equal to the candidate / Total number of candidates who appeared in the examination) x 100
