How is the placement assistance of Jaypee Institute for B.Tech?

Hello Shruti, The placement season was extraordinary for JIIT this year with many first time recruiters like BARCLAYS, HASHDIN, WIPRO, GMT, etc. I will give you placement idea branchwise For CSE/IT Most of the top offers are in this branch only.If you are in CSE/IT then you will surely get a job unless you have a very low CGPA like in the range of 5 or so.Even you don't get a job in 7th Semester you will have companies coming in month's of March and April.But the process gets tough after most of the college is placed. Talking of the salary, you can get above 4.2lac easily if you are serious enough. This branch is definitely a job lander. For ECE This branch is highly unpredictable like a girlfriend.You could land great job or be satisfied with a regular IT job.2016 batch was the luckiest of the lot as most of the ECE students landed jobs in core sector Like Telecom and Networks with companies like WIPRO telecom and Ericsson. But its highly unpredictable if the coming years would be same for this branch.For your knowledge WIPRO took 94 students @ 6lac with almost 50 from ECE branch.ERICSSON made 111 offers @ 3.5lac Some even get placed in Deloitte. This branch can be very fruitful if companies keep visiting but as I say its highly unpredictable. For other branches like Biotechnology, I don't have much knowledge but they also had 6-7 companies and one of them like GRAIL RESEARCH offered @6 lacs.
