Thapar is an amazing place to be, in terms of education and placement. Why are you even thinking like this? There are many job opportunities in Thapar at the starting of the final year companies come for the selection even some of the companies also come for pre-final year students.

As far as I know, TIET is one of the top colleges in India that provide the best placements in big brands like Deloitte, Larsen & Toubro, IBM and many more. The placement opportunity of Thapar is very amazing. Students actually get handsome salary package after they complete their studies. Even the average salary package is approximately INR 6-8 lacs per annum.

The college got over it pretty good with 150+ students placed in effective of 30 days placements. A lot of companies have visited the companies and to visit so with a varied average package of INR 6-10 lacs. The highest so far would be INR 32.5 lacs (CTC) by D. E. Shaw.
