Hi Pankaj, My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and placed in Amazon with highest package. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself. If you are looking forward for pursuing CSE in LPU, its a good option.I would like to share my brother experience although he was satisfied with placements,curriculum,academics etc. He told that With the advancement of course youll be learning numerous programming languages. In the third year SAP will be introduced in the curriculum. Limited number of Universities provide this course. Here in LPU, students will learn SAP for the entire third year providing them an edge. At the end of second year students get an option to choose one of seven different minors to pursue (IOT,Big Data,Web Development,Machine Learning,Android App Development,Data Science,Cyber Security). A student can opt for any, according to field of interest. Students start getting internship and job offers from the 6th semester on wards. If you are eligible and possess all the requirements needed by the recruiter, then you may get placed in the 6th semester itself. The packages are quite decent too, for instance the first company that visited the campus in 2018 gave a package of 13 LPA. Apart from all the curriculum you will come across ,literally, 100s of technical and non-technical competitions being held. Participating in them will give you an extra exposure, an extra platform to share your knowledge and showcase your skills. Summarizing up, if you are really interested in pursuing Computer Science and Engineering then Lovely Professional University is one the best options available. Great professors, great environment, everything is just as good as it can be. The curriculum may feel heavy as compared to other courses, but in the end it will be worth it. Last year,One student named Tanya Arora she got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So don't worry for placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same , it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc to provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. In Lovely Professional University The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. Dear Student, If you think that the records or data's which are shown on the website or TV then don't believe it at all. There are some 10000 students studying in the college and from them only 700 (approx) get the placements. Some students get the call letter in 6 months and even in a year. The faculty of college is also not good there. So you have to be talented and more skill so that you can get the placement on your own. Hope your query is resolved. Best of luck!
