Anna University is one of the best universities in India. With the level of discipline in the campus, it stands head to head with other great Universities in India. The placement there is pretty good, but for the branch you queried is not so popular, so you'll be getting less opportunities than other branches.

Agricultural engineering placements have been getting better but not like other branches in Anna University. Do look for government jobs.

The placement in Anna University is common for both Guindy campus and MIT campus. Agri and IT has the best placements every year in Anna University. Placements starts by August month (7th semester) and goes on till March (8th semester). In many occasions flagship companies kick start the placement in Anna University. Companies offer a range of CTC from 3 Lacs by bulk companies to 24 Lacs by top companies.
