Being a faculty at LPU, I would suggest mechanical engineering from LPU, LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. Hi Riddhiman, the LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. It is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc specialization.

Getting in core companies is the next level competitive in mechanical engineering branch although you can try for it. Very few companies come with around 20-35 seats in SRM.
