    Being a faculty at LPU, I would suggest mechanical engineering from LPU, LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships, etc.

    Hi Riddhiman, the LPU offers a B Tech in Mechanical Engineering. It is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc specialization.
    The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST/ JEE (Mains).

    Getting in core companies is the next level competitive in mechanical engineering branch although you can try for it. Very few companies come with around 20-35 seats in SRM.
