    Hi Priya,
The placements at VIT are way much good compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lacs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lacs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.

If you are from CSE and even if you are an average student, then very easily, you can get a CTC of 6 Lakhs.
I believe that in VIT, if you are from core CSE, then you have the most opportunities to get placed in super dream companies or companies with CTC of 8+. Highest Placement of CSE this year was from Amazon (28 CTC, 15 Fix & 13 variable). This is the best company you can target for. But, there are many Tier-1 companies where Selection Process is rigorous. For details, visit our official website of the college and get better and accurate information.
