Well, if you've heard for reliable sources like The Hindu or the Economic Times it is true. The salary at the top 3 IIMs are very high.

Hi Neema,we have 95% placement record of batch 2011-13.Highest package was 8.5 L and average package is 3.6 L. Companies like Mercedez Benz,CitiBank,Yes Bank,Forbes Marshal ect. regularly visit us for campus placements.Placements are ongoing for 2012-14.
