How is the placement of interior design?

Dear Upasana Bharti, I have no idea about the placement details of Interior Design at Amity, but being an alumnus of LPU, I would be sharing the same at LPU with you. The following companies visited for the placements of the Interior Design program XOXODAY, CABINET SECRETARIAT, GOI, SOCKSOHO. VALUEFY, SPRING ML, MCKINLEY & RICE, ECLERX, BENZARA E-COMMERCE INDIA PVT LTD, SLEEK INTERNATIONAL, FLOOR & FURNISHINGS, ESSENTIA ENVIRONMENT, JASHAN, etc. Navneet Saini (B.Design Interior and Furniture Design, Batch 2015-2019) got placed with a package of INR 9 Lacs annually in Trident Group- Trident Limited, the flagship company of the group has its customer base in more than 100 countries across 6 continents. Mr. Amardeep Singh (IFD, Batch 2015-2019) got placed in Noor Al Marifaa Dcor, UAE as an Interior Designer with INR 7 LPA Interior & Furniture Design, Miss. Ineet ( 2013-1017) Got Placed In Pepperfry With INR 3,60,000 Annual Package. Interior & Furniture Design Student, Apurva Thosar Placed at a Top University with Package Of INR 5LPA I hope it helps you!

I don't know much about other Universities but I am pretty sure I can recommend you a university with better placements and everything. I an alumnus of LPU. LPU is among the top colleges of India in Interior Designing. The LPU School of Design is widely considered as one of the greatest design schools in India and Punjab. LPU gives students the opportunity to experiment with Creative Designs, patterns, textiles, and colors. Live design events, visits from prominent national and international Fashion Designers, Innovation, and Creativity are all encouraged at every stage. Interior Furniture Design And Product Industrial Design Students Engage in Innovative Learning during Experiential Learning week where Students interact with National Award-Winning Artists during Educational Trips And Industrial Exposure. Navneet Saini (B. Design Interior and Furniture Design, Batch 2015-2019) was placed at Trident Group- Trident Limited, the group's main firm, has customers in more than 100 countries across six continents. Mr. Amardeep Singh (IFD, Batch 2015-2019) was hired as an Interior Designer at Noor Al Marifaa Dcor in UAE for INR LPA. Miss. Ineet (2013-1017), Interior & Furniture Design, was hired by Pepperfry with an annual salary of INR 3,60,000. Apurva Thosar, an interior, and furniture design student, was hired by a top university with a five-figure salary.

As a LPU alumni, I can share the highlights of LPU. The LPU Design programs are designed and delivered with an objective of wholesome development of the students. The highlights include: Seminars and Guest Lectures: Seminars and guest lectures are held by experienced and professional architects frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. Innovative Pedagogy: Emphasis on case studies and Case based teaching to develop skills to improve analytical thinking and for reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. Co-Curricular & Extra Curricular Activities: Students can participate in in-campus and out campus competitions that are held frequently. Placement: An Interior and Furniture Design Student was placed with INR 9 LPA. Navneet Saini (Design Interior and Furniture Design, Batch 2015-2019) was given a package worth INR 9 LPA at Trident Group- Trident Limited. The flagship company of the group has its customer base in more than 100 countries across 6 continents. An Interior & Furniture Design Student, Apurva Thosar was given the package of INR 5 LPA at a top university. Miss Apurva (Ifd, Batch- 2015-2017) was given the package of INR 5 LPA at Surya Dutta Group of Institutes, Pune (One of The Top Ranked College) as an Assistant Miss Ineet got a reputed position at one of India’s Leading Furniture Company, PEPPERFRY. An Interior & Furniture Design student, Miss. Ineet (2013-1017) was given a package worth INR 3,60,000 LPA at PEPPERFRY.

The placements are good in Amity for interior designing. But if one performs really well through the course programme then there's always a chance of golden ticket.

The focus of the B Interior Design program at LPU is on providing a professional degree offering skills in practical interior design and execution and full-scale furniture design and fabrication through rigorous studio work and hands-on workshops. Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST//UCEED/ NIFT Entrance Exam/ NID DAT. Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to the academic life. University has faculty from IIT, NID, CEPT, NIFT, etc. Some companies where students are working are Pepper fry Mefco Interiors, Bangalore PVR Pyramid DLF TDI Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Ltd. Asian Paints ( as color consultants) Hettich Habitat Architect The creator, Chandigarh DTZ Xcube interiors Sama builders. The highest salary offered was 15 LPA and the average was 3.4 LPA.

Placement is very good at LPU. Special practice is given to the student in the form of Mock interviews, tests so that the student can perform well in the final interview and get a very good package.

As per my perception interior design placements at LPU is really good because my sister get placed from LPU . An Interior and Furniture Design Student was placed with 12 LPA according to current scenario. Placement is very good at LPU. Special practice is given to the student in the form of Mock interviews, tests so that the student can perform well in the final interview and get a very good package. Hope this helpful!!
