Computer Engineering placements for BE are very good at Thapar University. Pre-Placement (Before 7th Sem)
3 students were placed in RBS after they got a PPO, doing 78 weeks of Internship, at a CTC of 9.00 LPA.
1 student was placed at Microsoft (R & D) with a CTC of 21.00 LPA. The fee structure depends on the course and the programme you opt.

The placement cell of Thapar University has excellent placement records. They had 160 companies visiting them in 2017 for campus placements. More than 600 students got on campus placements with an avg CTC of 6.69L. Some of the recruiters being Wipro, HSBC, Reliance, Samsung, Whirlpool, Deloittee, IBM, Infosys, L&T, J.
