    The University has not released the stream-wise placement data for BTech. As per the combined statistics given in the NIRF report 2024, out of 289 students, 199 were placed during Calcutta University BTech placements 2023. This makes the placement rate 69%. Earlier, 305 out of 357 BTech graduates were placed in 2022. Take a look at the below table illustrating the University of Calcutta BTech placement trends:

Based on the aggregate data presented in the NIRF report 2024, 199 students were placed at the Calcutta University BTech placements in 2023, out of 289 total. The placement rate is now 69% as a result. Previously, in 2022, 305 out of 357 BTech graduates found employment.
