It depends on Institute where you study.
If you study in top notch Institutes like IMS Goa, MERI, Tolani etc., you will get placed.
In many other institutions, it's really hard.
You'll also get placed if you study in Institutes like Anglo eastern maritime academy, Samundra institute of maritime studies
