How is the practical work there? How do teachers help in competitive exams?

I am in NIT Rourkela, M.Sc geology 1st year. This year I may join IIT Roorkee. So I want information. Is it the right decision to be in profit by dropping one year?

You have daily slot of practicals in IIT Roorkee. You have to do practicals on your own and for competitive exams and you have extra lectures where you can clear your doubt. Best of luck for your future and if any query feel free to ask.
