<p>The food at the hostel mess of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya is above average in quality. Nevertheless, it depends much upon an individual's own taste buds. It's generally a vegetarian meal, as in most universities, students are vegetarians by choice.</p><p>Students generally comment that the food is simple but healthy; they basically like rice, lentils, and vegetables. The mess is managed by the college administration, which normally takes student feedback to enhance the quality of food served. However, in general, the food here cannot be out of the league of all the hostels of other universities. Like most university hostels, it cannot satisfy all the tastes; some have appropriately suggested improvements in terms of variety and flavor.</p><p>It's good overall for students who put emphasis on nutrition and affordability though may not meet every meal standard for students who are accustomed to a more varied restaurant-style meal.</p>

<p>The mess of the hostel in Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV) is said to have a great meal service and most of the students enjoy the home like feel of the place. Some of the students have lived up to the food experience promising the better food and hospitable conditions as in the hostel. Also one finds keeping in mind the restaurants on campus that the meals on are served in amicable, easy going atmosphere while making it all the more enjoyable for one's student life. In spite of the fact that by and large assessments are quite positive, evidence regarding food variety or diversity of the menu was absent from the feedback. Nonetheless, students do appear to enjoy dining in the hostel mess in general.</p>
