The quality of hostel mess food at BM College of Technology has been debatable. Most students tend to complain that the quality is bad and even under-cooked at times, showing issues of hygiene as well-sightings of pests at times in the kitchen have also been reported. With regard to paying for food, students just did not get value and are forced to seek foodstuffs from outside. While there are demands in the name of better quality control and transparency in preparing food, students have opined that they want proper dining experiences overall as paid for in hostel fees.
