How is the quality of food in the hostel mess of K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research?

<p>Food quality at the mess of K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research has been satisfactory to the students most of the times, using a menu which is designed to encourage them to make healthy food selections within their busy timetable. There is nothing unusual to see a number of Indian dishes appearing on the menu in order to satisfy a wide range of taste, although for some students this menu can become monotonous after a number of repeats. Particularly housekeeping and cleaning of the dining hall environment itself is generally kept to a high standard, which has a positive impact on the quality of dining. Although there are students who would like to experience more international dishes, or more intense flavours, there are several who prefer the comfort food of home-cooked food. Broadly the food quality is an interplay between the nutritional content and price, and plays an important role in sustaining the hostel culture among the academic community of the students.</p>

<p>Quality of food at the hostel mess is generally quite acceptable from the perspective of the students at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research. Mess supplies a variety of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian preparations that matches the choice of the students. Cooking with considerable care for nutrition and hygiene is a must, though taste needs improvement from the student community's point of view. A constant feed-back from the residents is taken in order to enhance the menu and improve the problems. In short, though sometimes the quality may not be up to the marks, but still the mess of the hostel tries to serve some wholesome and nutritious food to the residents.</p>
