The on-campus hostel facility is not available at the Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT), which is why students invariably opt for private stays in houses or rooms located within the vicinity. The food provided by several private mess services surrounding the institute is not consistent in quality, as it depends on the respective service providers. Prior to choosing a meal plan, it is advisable to check the local establishments for cleanliness and make an evaluation on the quality of the food served.
