Generally, the quality of food in the MCE hostel mess is satisfactory to students. The mess provides a variety of vegetarian meals to be ensured for different tastes-from South Indian to North Indian cuisines and even some Chinese to suit diverse tastes. Food is improved by the constant feedback from the students so that the meal items served satisfy the expectations. The mess places a strong emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness in the places of cooking and serving food items. Fresh fruits and healthy foods are also available.
