<p>The quality of food in the hostel mess at MGM Institute of Management Studies and Research is satisfactory. This mess provides a number of vegetarian dishes catering to the varied tastes and dietary needs of students. Hygiene is followed while food is prepared, and much emphasis is given to nutritionally balanced meals so that students are appropriately energized for their academic work. The mess staff, though sometimes bad in quality, attempts to keep things clean while ensuring that the students get a decent meal. Students do have preferences, but as a whole, most take the food as acceptable for hostel living conditions.</p>
