On the whole, food quality in the hostel mess of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai is satisfactory to students. Mess provides vegetarian and sometimes non-vegetarian varieties to ensure proper nutrition. Hygienically prepared food caters for the diet of students. Through regular feedback from students, quality and variety of dishes get improved. It accommodates the taste and diet of many students to a considerable extent, but the food served could still be home-like and balanced in general.
