Residential facility at campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Turnstile Gates: The entry to residential facilities are regulated through automated turnstile (as in metro railway) and biometric machines and data is saved in computerized data base to track the movement of students/ visitor. Mess in the residential facility provides good quality, hygienic, nutritious mess and multi cuisine menu served four times a day. Constant vigil over vendors is the prime reason for good quality mess plan at residential accommodation. There is an automatic chapatti making machine in every residential accommodation which is hygienic and time saving. Students also have the option of having their mess occasionally or for nonmess opting students at cafeteria provided within residential premises and at various strategic locations within the campus. Medical Facility: University has 30 bedded hospital within the campus and 24 hours medical and Ambulance services are available. Hospital is staffed with Resident Medical Offi cers, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Medical Lab. Technologists, Nurses, Dieticians, Physiotherapists and Psychologists. Banks and ATM Facility : At Campus, we have branches of 5 nationalized banks. In addition, there are 55+ ATMs of different banks within the university campus. Library and Lab facility: Students residing in University campus can avail the Library facility till late hours, presently from 8.00 am till midnight. Labs and workshop facilities are also available till late hours for practicing Internet connectivity: Being a tech savvy University, students generally accomplish their work through internet. The hostels of LPU are most comfortable and damn strict. There is no compromise when it comes to the security of the students. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. There is round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load upto 5 ampere per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There is 24 Hrs. Hi, I will answer this question in detail. I have spent 2 years in the hostel during my M.Tech at LPU. It was a great experience for me and I enjoyed it a lot in the hostel. I stayed in 2 seater room. Following amenities are provided by LPU in a Two-seater room (For both Boys/Girls Hostels) Attached Washroom Two Iron B.Ed Two Study Table Two Plastic Chair Two Almirah one Geyser 1 AC/ 1 Air Cooler (As Applicable) A standard range of free electricity Units per Individual Apart from this privacy, budget, location, and facilities all play a huge part in the way we choose our accommodation. While each of the different options has its benefits. We should also note that while every Hostel, Apartment is different. Basically, the majority of the time you get what you pay for. LPU Hostels always provide reasonably good value for money. You also have the chance to meet a lot of other international students or students from 29 different states because Hostels are generally well known for being social. LPU residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organized and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. Hostel residents are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, mobile charger, shaving set, trimmer, hair straightener, and hairdryer. Basic essentials are already provided to students as per seater like table, chair, almirah, etc. Apartments can feel like a home away from home when you are stepping outside your comfort zone. Having a homely base to come back to each day makes a huge difference to happiness. Kitchen facilities are given in apartments and allow students to cook with ingredients picked up from local markets. For apartment rooms with pantries, students may also use induction plates for cooking food in addition to gadgets mentioned for hostels. I have been a student of LPU since 2019 and I have had a great experience living in the LPU hostel, I have made so many memories there. LPU hostels have every facility any student could ask for. Be it a good mess, canteen, cafe, park, garden, open gym, basketball court. Saloon, tuck shops for grocery shopping, atm, basically it's like home. Everything is available there. 24/7 Wi-Fi. And 24/7 water. If you have food swings you can even order pizza and everything which you're craving for. I still remember our roommates used to order pizza from dominos when we had food swings. Then we used to watch a movie together. We had a lot of fun in the hostel. Made so many memories. And we had really good and understanding warden. Besides all this, I would LPU hostel has one more quality that they're completely safe. There female security guards for a hostel. And for us. And there 24/7 hospital facilities. The warden will accompany you to the hospital even if it's 2 am. So the LPU hostel is not a hostel it's more like home.
