While you can get recruited in both government and private sectors, you may also choose to become an independent fire consultant after completing a relevant fire technology course. In government sector there is job in the Defense forces, Railways, Airport Authority of India, Electricity Boards, C. I. S. F. , ONGC, Mines, Refineries, Petrochemical complexes, fire brigades or other such organizations.
