How is the scope of instrumentation and control engineering in India in future?

In short, huge. Robotics is becoming a worldwide phenomenon and India is slowly catching up to it. Robotics involves mainly 34 thing -Instru and control, AI, Embedded Systems, Coding. As the future of robotics is huge Instru and control will also rise. There is anyway a shortage right now of good Instrumentation engineers. Furthermore with IT companies removing people for automation, instrumentation and control assumes greater importance. Automation of human jobs requires control theory basically along with AI. So I'm sure along with AI, Instrumentation and Control will be the next boom, not just in India but across the world. The Indian army is stocking up with autonomous robots. The next big thing is autonomous cars as you may have read. They have huge scope for control engineers.
