    In the case of board examinations, the students are seated in a manner that ensures integrity in the examination and prevents cheating. The seating arrangement is carried out in a systematic manner whereby candidates are spread randomly across examination halls. A fascinating fact is that seat numbers are mapped out carefully by invigilators and students are not seated near familiar peers. Generally, alternate benches are kept vacant to reduce opportunities for communication. Examination centers carefully plan seating to minimize chances of academic misconduct.
