    The candidates should note that there is a negative marking in the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam. The Commission introduced the negative marking in the SSC MTS exam.  The Commission restricted the negative marking to session 2 only that is in the section of English and General Awareness.
    The candidates can see below how the SSC MTS score will be calculated. 

    QuestionMarks Assigned
    For Each Correct Answer+3
    For Each Incorrect answer-1
    Total Marks(Number of correct questions x 3) - (Number of incorrect questions x 1)

    This will be the raw score only. The Commission will do the normalisation as per the standard notified normalisation formula. The SSC MTS result is prepared based on the final answer key.
