How is the ULSAT score and percentile/rank calculated?

The ULSAT is an entrance exam conducted for admissions in UPES Dehradun. The paper syllabus is similar to CLAT but has 150 questions only where equal weightage is given to every section including English, maths, logical reasoning, general knowledge and legal aptitude. The scores are based on the number of correct answers by a candidate out of the maximum marks of 150. The final ranks are also based on the marks obtained by a student. ULSAT stands for UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test. It is the entrance test conducted by University of Petroleum and Legal Studies. The exam is conducted online. The total number of questions that are asked is 150 which have to be attempted in three hours. The question paper is divided into five sections: English including Comprehension, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Reasoning. Each section carries 30 marks and there is no negative marking. The final scores are calculated on the basis of a number of correct answers. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies popularly known as UPES conducts ULSAT to offer admission to aspirants in law programmes offered by UPES College of Legal Studies.
The pattern of the exam is as follows-
Online exam
Maximum number of questions- 150
Time limit- 3 hours.
5 sections- Language Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Legal General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude.
Each of these sections have 30 questions which carry the weightage of 1 marks.
No negative marking for any wrong attempts.
