How is this college for B.Tech in CSE?

Dear Ravindra, I do not know about the CSE programme at Poornima University, but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of BTech CSE at LPU. My brother completed his CSE at LPU and placed in an MNC. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft in 2020. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. Talking about Lovely Professional University, student of CSE here in LPU. LPU has a collaboration with Google to provide specialisation Android courses to the B.Tech/IT/CSE/Engineering students. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform. Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus LPU is having experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. Well, a few years ago a junior at my school came to clarify the same doubt I suggested pursuing B.Tech (CS) from LPU, though he was quite a brilliant guy having 80+ in 12th and 99 marks in Cs in class 12th. So, I strongly recommended him for LPU. LPU is a mammoth in infrastructure and global in reach. There might be many things that may divert a student from studying, but not negative sense, I told him about these factors which would divert his focus in LPU. So at final, as he was sincerely followed all the things and as a result, he got placed in AMAZON INDIA with CTC INR 16 Lacs. Although there were other companies which also visited campus for recruitment, companies like. Cognizant, Wipro,TCS, Infosys, L&T infotech, and many more. Now ,LPU is ranked under 100 in the university NIRF ranking for 2020.
