How is this college for engineering? I've heard that it is not a good college but have already registered for LPUNEST'17. I am confused now.

Lovely Professional University is a decent option for engineering, especially if you make use of the opportunities it provides.
It's true that opinions can be mixed, mainly because LPU has a large number of students but the university offers good infrastructure, labs, coding culture and strong placem
