    Academics is excellent being a department of IIT Roorkee. In the first year, the subject comprises every section of management which consists of finance, marketing, operations, IT and HR. Placement records keeps on changing.Previous year records we had 100% placement from the inception of the department.     Hello Gayatri,
    The study at IITs is at par to that of any IIMs. Apart from that, we have a semester system, which will give you ample time to explore other facets of MBA life simultaneously. IIT Roorkee gives dual specialization that is to choose any 2 from marketing, finance, operations, IT and HR.

For students belonging to the General AI quota, most of the BTech branches remained open till the last round for admission at IIT Roorkee. The cutoffs of different branches vary across rounds and categories.
