As LPU alumni, i would say there is no comparison of LPU, LPU is the best university.LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC recognized and a renowned University and is considered as one among top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with latest facilities. Before searching for any University, You should compare universities on various parameters like academics, Industrial exposure, placements, infrastructure, On-Campus Facilities & Amenities, Student Activities etc. So, choose the program and the University to join very wisely. All the above institutes are fair enough!!!I believe for CSE, LPU would be the best option.Let me share with you some of the details as well as highlights :According to the recent NIRF ranking 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all Govt and Private universities in India. LPU school of Law ranked among the top 25 law institutions in India. Lpu school of pharmacy ranked among the top 25 pharmacy institutions in India. Mittal school of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institution in India. LPU school of Architecture and design ranked among the top 15 architecture institutions in India. If I talk about LPU, LPU has earned the name at a big level in a few years. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the program. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. In general if I say both the university are good & does provide placements. I dont know much about them but in details I can talk about LPU as I have studied in LPU itself and I had the pleasure of acquiring good placement. In short LPU placement process starts as soon as you enter your final year. In order to ensure good placement no. the university passes you through a rigorous training session of PEP that confirms our selection. PEP runs under the Centre for Professional Enhancement at Lovely Professional University that was established with the mandate to promote professional growth and bridge the gap between the academic environment and the industry. CGC and Chitkara college may be good on their own grounds. To my knowledge and idea, LPU is far way ahead of any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. I don't believe in comparing the institutes but still if you ask me to compare and recommend one best, then I will ask to pursue your studies from LPU. Last year one of my niece was planning to take admission but her point was that she will finalise that institute which is an institute of repute due putting hard efforts On lot of inquiry, we finally prefffered LPU because of following: #LPU is recognised by the UGC,COA, PCI, AIU, NCTE, ICAR. Internationally, LPU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP) and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). #Let me brief you about the rankings that LPU has to its credit; latest NIRF (2020) has ranked LPU as top 80 amongst all private and government institutes. MHRD, government and has already fetched many. #Keeping in view, the quality education at affordable pricing, LPU offers scholarships for various programs. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. #The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions.
