You get both work plus learning experience at a time. There is no wastage of your time. Placement will be based on your skill and caliber. You will be placed in an MNC based on your specialisation. -

The moment a student joins GEMS B SCHOOL, immediately the placement process will start and the student will be placed in a Job related to the specialisation in the MBA. However, the kind of placement will depend on the student's caliber. 60% of our students work in multinationals, 30% in tier 2 companies and 10% in tier 3.
