How is this college to pursue finance? What is the placement record? I am a fresher and I have done my engineering.

Finance is a good option at IES. The placements are also good. As you will be under constant guidance of our faculty members,they will help you to select your area of expertise through the course time.
The Placements are above average for finance. You get many good opportunities to work for big companies. Approximately 60% placements are accomplished for the current batch of finance.
