    The TNEA 2025 merit list is based on a total score of 200. In cases where candidates have the same marks, the inter-se merit will be determined using the following criteria:

    1. Percentage of marks in Mathematics
    2. Percentage of marks in Physics
    3. Percentage of marks in the optional subject
    4. Percentage of total marks in the 12th Standard Examination
    5. Date of birth (with preference for older candidates)
    6. Random number (higher value given preference)
