How is TNEA rank list/merit list prepared?

The TNEA 2025 merit list is based on a total score of 200. In cases where candidates have the same marks, the inter-se merit will be determined using the following criteria:
- Percentage of marks in Mathematics
- Percentage of marks in Physics
- Percentage of marks in the optional subject
- Percentage of total marks in the 12th Standard Examination
- Date of birth (with preference for older candidates)
- Random number (higher value given preference)
