How is vit for placements

HelloThis university have good placement in IT companies but core companies placement is not so good . If you want a job in IT companies after b.tech than you can join it otherwise it is not beneficial . VIT University earned a place in the Limca Book of Records for the fourth year in succession for placing the maximum number of students in a single slot through its campus placement drive for the 2015 graduating batch, In a first, five IT majors - Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro and Accenture - together have made 7,947 offers at VIT University. According to VIT officials, statistics indicate that all these companies have slightly surpassed their own records from previous years. Cognizant which gave offers to 1,914 students had a previous high of 1,911.
