    If the research scholars who has been selected for Ph.D. programme after qualifying the LPU NEST and interview for August or January intake then he/she can take admission in the August or January session respectively. If the research scholars fails to take admission in the above said session then his/her candidature will stand cancelled.

    Hi!

    The scholarship for a Ph.D. programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU) is valid for a maximum of 3 years from the date of admisson.The contingency for consumables is available for up to four years from the date of admission.

    Here are some other details about the Ph.D. programme at LPU:
    • The fee is applicable until the final thesis is submitted. 
      A candidate who qualifies for JRF (UGC/CSIR)/NET/GATE/GPAT within 1.5 years of registering for the Ph.D. programme is eligible for a scholarship.
      After being granted Ph.D. candidacy, the research scholar must present their work progress to the Research Advisory Committee every six mon

  • Dear aspirant, LPU NEST for Ph.D. at LPU is valid for the term/ session for which candidate has appeared. As for Ph.D. LPU opens admissions in both the Spring term (Jan-June) and Autumn term (August-December), it conducts LPU NEST separately for both the terms and LPU NEST score is valid only for that term.

    For LPU NEST for Ph.D. aspirants, Ph.D. entrance test's valid Time is minimum 3 years and maximum 6 years from the date of registration.
