    There are two facets to it!
    The academic year is about 10 months after excluding the vacations and breaks so one semester is usually 4 to 5 months. But as you know time is also relative! It depends on how long do you feel it !
    For those engrossed in the real learning, the semester time would never be enough to learn enough! For those killing time, everyday is longer than semester. So be a good customer, learn maximum in your formative years and don't worry about time frame. All the best.

    B.Tech course is of your years duration which students can do after passing their class 12th board exams with good percentage. There are total 8 semester, usaully the semester are divided into odd and even category.

    B.Tech is a 4 year Undergraduate Programme having 8 semesters. There will be 2 semesters in a year. The full academic session is of 10 months excluding the winter Break and Summer Vacations. The semester is nearly 45 months long. The semester include the Regular Classes, Mid Term and End Term Examination.
