BTech at VIT Chennai is four years long. The BTech programme follows the semester model, which means that each year of the programme is divided into two semesters in each year. Therefore, candidates have to pass eight semesters of the BTech programme to be eligible for a BTech degree. At the time of admission candidates will have to choose their desired specialisation that they want to take admission in.
