Additionally, the GATE score validity for PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) job aspirants is for only a year. Therefore, if candidates have qualified in the GATE 2025 exams, they are eligible for M.Tech admissions for the next three years after releasing the GATE results, but the scores to land a PSU job are valid for only a year.

Till now whichever IIT conduct GATE exam the validity is of 3 years from the date of issue.
