    Hi!
    GATE examination is conducted by the management of IIT college for the admission in the M.Tech course in IIT college. Many other college also take admission in the M.Tech course through the GATE examination.
    There are no limit of number of attempt and age criteria for the GATE examination so you can appear in the GATE examination at any age and many times according to own wish.
    According to GATE-2012 notification the pre-final year candidates are not eligible for the GATE-2012 examination. Only final year and pass candidates are eligible to apply for the GATE-2012 examination.
