    In Kolkata, there are more than 60 B.Ed colleges. Among these, 32 are privately owned, 13 belong to public/government organizations, and 7 are under the ownership of public-private entities. Admission is attainable for students upon the completion of their Class 12 results, with some colleges also incorporating entrance exams like AUAT, WBJEE, etc. Notable B Ed institutions in Kolkata encompass Calcutta University, NSOU - Netaji Subhas Open University, Jadavpur University, St. Xavier's College Kolkata, University of Kalyani, Rabindra Bharati University, Adamas University, and several others.
