There are about 30 top BEd colleges in Ranchi. Of these, 19 colleges are privately owned, 2 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own 2 BEd colleges. CUET PG is the only accepting entrance exams in top BEd colleges in Ranchi. Some of the popular colleges include Central University of Jharkhand, YBN University, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, Doranda College, St. Xavier's College, SNU - Sai Nath University, Kartik Oraon College, Manrakhan B.Ed College, and many others.
