There are around 3597 BTech Mechanical Engineering colleges in India, of which 3046 are private-owned, 457 are owned by the government, and the remaining 24 are public/private BTech Mechanical Engineering colleges. JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MHT CET, KCET, TNEA Counseling, WBJEE, BITSAT, etc. are some of the popular entrance exams to get admission to these colleges.
