Among these,  2,800+ colleges are owned privately,  400+ colleges are owned by the government and 20+ colleges are owned by semi government institutions. JEE Main, MHT CET, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET and KCET are the top entrance exams for admission to best Engineering colleges in Inida for BTech in Civil Engineering courses. VIT Vellore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and DTU are the top BTech in Civil Engineering colleges in India.
