University of Calgary is based in Calgary, Canada with four campuses in the Calgary Area and a fifth in Doha, Qatar. The main University of Calgary campus occupies more than 200 hectares and is located in the northwest quadrant.

Main Campus

  • The northern side of the campus consists of buildings like Sciences, Engineering, Biology, Social Sciences and Kinesiology
  • The professional faculty members including Education, Environmental Design, Nursing, Social Work, Business and Law are on the south side

Foothills Campus

  • This campus is home to the Cumming School of Medicine and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
  • The Health Sciences Centre, the Heritage Medical Building, the Health Research Innovation Centre and the Teaching, Research and Wellness Building are all situated here

Downtown Campus

  • This campus is located in Calgary’s downtown core and offers select graduate level and executive educational programming via Haskayne School of Business and The School of Public Policy

Spy Hill Campus

  • This campus houses the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s Clinical Skills Building, Veterinary Sciences Research Station, and Wildlife Research Station
  • It is the place for hands-on clinical and diagnostic learning in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program
  • The University of Calgary’s High-Density Library was also built on this site

Doha, Qatar Campus

  • This first overseas branch of the University of Calgary campus was opened in 2007
  • At present, the University of Calgary educates the future nursing leaders in the region by offering Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing programs accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing
