How many candidates are selected for IPS every year in the UPSC result?

  • The Government of India has increased the number of vacancies for the IPS in the UPSC exam. The total number of candidates selected for the IPS is 200 now. Earlier this number was 150 only but the Government increased it in the year 2021. Apart from IAS and IPS, the number of vacancies are not fixed for any service.
