    Every year, the number of candidates who pass the CSIR NET exam and are eligible for Lectureships (LS) changes depending on a number of criteria including the number of openings, the exam's difficulty level, and the number of candidates who took the exam. The CSIR determines the LS cut-off score depending on candidates' exam results. Candidates who meet all other eligibility requirements and score at or above the LS cut-off point are given consideration for lectureships. Every year, about 4,000 applicants pass the CSIR UGC NET exam and are eligible for lectureships. 3,690 individuals in all passed the exam to be considered for a lectur

    The number of candidates who qualify for Lectureship (LS) through the CSIR NET exam varies every year and depends on several factors such as the number of vacancies, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of candidates who appeared for the exam. The CSIR Sets a cut-off score for LS based on the performance of candidates in the exam. Candidates who score equal to or above the cut-off score for LS are considered eligible for Lectureship, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.
