There are about 600+ colleges in Ahmedabad in various top streams like BMS, IT Software, Design, Medicine and Health Sciences, Engineering, etc. Admission will be based on merit or on entrance exam basis like GUJCET, GATE, JEE Main, etc. Top Ahmedabad colleges include IIM Ahmedabad, NIRMA University
