    Gauhati University, through various colleges and various departments, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and various other programmes to students. Some of the colleges under this university are Abhayapuri College, Abhiruchi Institute of Physical Education, Agia College, Ajmal Law College, Alamganj Rangamati College, Duni Degree College, and others. These colleges accepts various entrance exams for admission. So prepare well in advance for the entrance tests. Read the CAT preparation guidelines, study the CAT question papers, attempt the CAT mock test, and others.

    The university has 340 plus affiliated colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the faculty members of Humanities, Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, and Engineering. Admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate, and doctoral courses is completely based on university, state, and national-level entrance exams. A list of the college that is affiliated with Guwahati University is mentioned below;
    1- Abhyayapuri College.
    2- Asom Sikshak Prasikshan Mahavidyalaya.
    3- Adikavi Nannaya University MSN Campus.
