How many days per week does an IAS officer work? What salary does he/she get? Someone plz answer my question

IAS is almost always on duty. His office timings may be different but he is always active. Suppose a riot broke out at midnight on a Holiday. He or She wouldn't take action in morning but rather immediately. It is not an easy job. The basic salary of an IAS office is between payscale of 37400 to 640
