    In India, there are over 100+ correspondence/distant learning engineering institutes. 2 of these are public, and the remaining 106 are privately owned. Aligarh Muslim University, Wisdom School of Management for distant Education, Karnataka State Open University, IIMT Studies, Aryabhatta Degree College, Delhi Degree College, and many more are among the distant learning BTech programs offered in India. AMU moved up in the rankings, moving from rank 37 in 2022 to rank 32 in 2023.
